In different lights this exceptional Spinel has many hues, and is beautifully set in a classic rub over setting, for maximum wearability. The warm buttery tones of the 18ct Yellow Gold add depth and really bring out the orange colours of the gem stone. Spinels are at 7.5 - 8 on the MOH’s scale of hardness, making them nearly as durable as Ruby’s and Sapphires which are part of the Corundum family.
