We love all shapes and sizes!

ROUND

A timeless classic. With advances in lapidary (the art of cutting gemstones) the round brilliant cut can really dazzle! A staple we think.

PEAR

We love the feminine, water-droplet-like form of the pear cut.

PRINCESS

This clean square-cut creates a pleasing juxtaposition when paired with Erin’s organic style.

CUSHION

If you’re looking for something a little softer than the princess cut the cushion could be the perfect choice for you. Similar to a princess cut but with softer cushioned corners. It’s one of our favourite cuts too! Check out our aqua cushion cut (£1894) here and sapphire cushion cut (£3687) here.

MARQUISE

A quirky, streamlined cut which pairs perfectly with Erin’s alternative style.

TRILLION / TRILLIANT

Another more unusual cut for those looking for a contemporary bold design.

EMERALD

Renamed in the roaring 20’s after the cut often chosen for Emeralds, this is a classic cut that oozes sophistication and style.

OTHER

Hexagon - Like a section of honeycomb…yummy!

Cabochon - A smooth, un-faceted cut with a satisfyingly smooth convex surface.

Checkerboard - This cut can be applied to different shapes. Rather than the traditional larger flat table polished into the top the gem, the whole top is faceted with square facets.

Rose - Similar to above but faceted with triangular facets. A cut often found on old diamonds.

Baguette - The rectangle version of a princess cut.

Kite - Does what it says on the tin!

Asscher - The cross between an emerald and princess cut. Like a square with the corners cut off!

Shield - One of the more unusual cuts; it’s like a slice of the traditional diamond shape.
