Erin Cox
Designer and Maker
Designer and Maker, Erin is 20 years into her personal love affair with making, quoting Erin her self, " when your hobby is your job, you have to find other hobbies!" Erin's unique style and approach to jewellery making is the core to our business, and without her genuine joy in making and strong sense of aesthetic we would be nothing. As a maker, she dreams up new ideas in the wee small hours, and then brings them into fruition on the bench, working and refining ideas in the process, rather than designing on paper. It is this approach that makes Erin’s work so wearable. Each idea is brought about like a sculpture and thought of in 3D.
When not going hammer and tongs at the bench, Erin is a single mum to two curly haired girls. She is a keen forager, and sources all sorts of deliciousness from the Devon hedgerows and fields. And when a bit of peace is needed, knitting and crochet is always appealing, as is a good US comedy boxset. Speaking of which, has anyone got any good recommendations?
JOANNA Kendall
Workshop Manager and Sales
Joanna joined the team in January 2019 after returning from living in Jakarta, Indonesia for a few years. Joanna spends most of her time in the workshop assisting Erin and is usually covered in polish!
Joanna lives in Shaldon, opposite her home town of Teignmouth. When she’s not at the shop she loves gardening, baking and is mad on rabbits! Joanna also makes her own jewellery and has a collaborative jewellery collection with artist and illustrator Laura Wall.
JASMINE BOWDEN

After completing a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Crafts at Falmouth University, Jasmine worked for Erin from 2012-2015. After a few years gallivanting, chalet hosting and developing her own small handmade jewellery business, she has happily returned to the nest. This time, with a new addition, rescue dog ‘Motley’ (often found snoring in the corner of the shop). Jasmine is passionate about the world of contemporary handmade jewellery. She loves the creativity & variation that comes with working for a small craft business and the inspiration that comes with working within an all women team.

Introducing Ana, our newest team member at Erin Cox Jewellery. With 20 years of retail experience and a deep fascination for gemstones, she exudes passion for crafting exquisite pieces. Ana's love for jewellery is evident in her engaging customer interactions, where she takes joy in helping clients find their perfect pieces. Beyond work, she cherishes time with her daughter, exploring art, drawing, and playing the piano. Her commitment to excellence and warm demeanor make her a valuable asset to our team, creating a welcoming atmosphere in our store. Ana's expertise and dedication ensure that every customer's jewellery experience is truly exceptional.
