Major credit/debit cards are accepted forms of payment for the services/products available from this website. Other forms of payment such as cheques may be considered but can be refused at company discretion.
All monetary transactions are dealt with the upmost of confidence and the company takes all legal and additional precautions to ensure delicate payment information is secured. However you by accepting these terms and conditions accept that the company will not be held liable for breach of such information to the extent that the law will allow.
All goods remain the property of the company until paid for in full. Payment for products/ services available from this website does also not bind the company to any agreement to supply such items. As such the company reserve the right to refuse any transaction for whatever reason at its own discretion.
Your jewellery will be sent to you in a black Erin Cox logo box. To stop items moving too much during transit we use acid free tissue paper inside all boxes.
Ordering Online with us is safe and secure.
We do not keep your full card details even if your order is placed by telephone (paying by card over the telephone always creates a slip showing some of your card numbers these are kept locked away and do not contain all of your card information).
We do not pass any contact information onto third parties.
When ordering Rings, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. A Ring ordered in the incorrect size can be re-sized, but this may be subject to a charge.
If you are buying a gift and unsure about the exact sizes or colours do contact us. We may recommend buying an item that we have in stock if you are unsure about exactly what to give, and possibly waiver the usual 14 days return policy. We can only offer a credit note for items returned after 14 days without prior arrangement.
If you are for any reason not entirely satisfied with your purchase we are happy to offer a 14-day full refund and exchange policy.
To arrange a return, or if the item you received is faulty, or is not what you originally ordered, please email us with your order number, name and address, and the reason for the return.
In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method that you paid within 28 days of receipt of the return.
We request that you return the item within the 14 days in it’s original packing and be in an unworn condition.
Please note that the return is your responsibility until it reaches us. We recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of your items.
We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit. Royal Mail Special Delivery is the most recommended method.
We will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show obvious signs of abuse. In this instance, the goods will be returned to the buyer at their own cost.
If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Your original postage costs will not be refunded unless the item you received was sent in error or is faulty (providing we are notified of faults within 7 days of receipt).
Exempt from our refund policy are specially commissioned pieces this includes jewellery that was customised on your request (chain length, etc).
If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will do what we can to help you.
We regret that we cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of despatch (30 days for international items) this is when the Royal Mail classes items as being lost.
International delivery parcels will be handled by more than one postal service delays can be caused by customs checks.
Erin Cox Jewellery cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.
Goods are charged at the price shown on the product pages and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication and are subject to change. Orders will be processed at our published prices.
In the case of any unexpected change in price due to error or fluctuating metal prices, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). We reserve the right to remove goods from sale as necessary.
We are happy to repair any jewellery purchased from us as necessary. We make a charge to cover the cost of postage and sometimes will charge a small amount to cover materials used for repairing an item.

To keep your Jewellery looking its best store it carefully and wear it regularly.
All jewellery can be cleaned in warm soapy water or jewellery dip, always ensure that it is rinsed thoroughly and dried before storing or wearing.
You can also polish jewellery using a soft polishing cloth.
Take care when cleaning Jewellery set with gemstones or pearls. The build-up of hand cream, finger prints and general dirt can easily be cleaned with warm water a bit of mild detergent and a soft brush (children’s toothbrushes are perfect for getting in behind gemstones).
Always clean gem set jewellery over a bowl to avoid losing any stones if the settings have become loose.
Emerald, Opal and Pearl Jewellery should be cleaned using a soft cloth as these stones are slightly porous and should not be immersed in water for too long.
Be aware that pearls are often attached to rings, earrings and pendants using pearl resin glue, this can be affected by hot water and humidity. Avoid wearing them in the shower and leaving them in the bathroom for long periods of time.
Strands of pearls should be rethreaded every few years as the silk thread or wire can wear over time.
Avoid excessive heat and try not to get creams or perfumes on your pearls as they can affect the wonderful lustre that your pearls have.
Chlorine, sulphur and bleach can affect your Jewellery avoid wearing your special things whilst using cleaning products that may contain these things.
Textures and finishes on all metals can change over time, we are happy to refinish any item bought from us free of charge. If you need to post an item to us we will only charge the cost of postage back to you.
When storing your Jewellery you should protect it by keeping it in a Jewellery box, taking care to place it gently so that it doesn’t bash or scratch other pieces. Use acid free tissue paper or soft fabric such as silk to wrap your Jewellery or create layers in your Jewellery box.
